FutureGuide™-LWP plus-200 streamlines high-density optical cable design, reducing costs in manufacturing, transport, and installation, while seamlessly integrating with existing networks for its compatibility with conventional ITU-T G.652 fibers.

It is demanded recently to install more fibers in available spaces due to rapid increase of network traffic, especially in access and drop-cable networks.
Fujikura’s innovative optical fiber coating technology achieves FutureGuide™-LWP plus-200 having 200 μm coating diameter and tolerable macro-bending performance exceeding ITU-T G.657.A1 while maintaining Mode Field Diameter (MFD) 9.2 μm at 1310 nm. Low(zero)-water-peak attenuation complying with ITU-T G.652.D of this fiber can support full-band transmission (available in O, E, S, C and L – bands).
FutureGuide™-LWP plus-200 helps not only designing high-density (e.g., higher fiber count and smaller diameter) optical fiber cables but also saving costs of manufacturing, transporting and installing cables. Furthermore, its compatible MFD with conventional ITU-T G.652 fibers would realize deployment of new cables into existing networks without any troubles.
It is expected that this fiber can be a solution for the demand of increasing fiber count in available spaces.
