Fiber Bragg Grating

Fujikura's FBG (Fiber Bragg Gratings) are manufactured by forming periodic refractive index variations on the core of an optical fiber through ultraviolet light irradiation. FBGs exhibit reflection and transmission characteristics for specific wavelengths, functioning as mirrors or filters.
Pump LD wavelength-stabilized FBGs are used for the pump LD that excite optical amplifiers, contributing to the control and stabilization of the oscillation wavelength. FBGs suppress the rapid wavelength shift (mode hopping) that occurs with increasing injection current.

Fiber Bragg Grating

Fujikura's FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) achieves optimal optical characteristics based on design and manufacturing expertise cultivated through years of experience in optical fiber products.
It has a proven track record of use in the 980 nm and 14xx nm wavelength bands.
