Field-Installable Connector
Field-installable connectors are optical connectors that can be directly and quickly installed on optical fiber cables at a construction site. Since the connector ferrule end faces are pre-polished at the factory, simply assembling them on-site easily achieves low-loss, low-reflection optical connections. They are useful for FTTH construction, data center operations, maintenance, and more. Fujikura offers field-terminated connectors suitable for various applications, including SC, LC, and MPO types.
