The recoat mold features slight steps in the U-groove that act as air vents, ensuring smoother resin flow.

Fiber and recoating centering adjustment is now possible by the user
The fiber height adjuster centers the fiber within the mold to align its diameter, while spacers enable precise fine-tuning.
Customer Benefits
Using a recoater, the section removed during fusion splicing can be restored with UV-curable resin instead of a reinforcing sleeve, making the fiber—including the spliced area—easier to store and handle.
