Termination Enclosure / Optical Closures

Optical termination boxes, optical termination frames, and optical closures provide optical termination and connection solutions that meet the diverse connection needs of optical communication networks.
We offer a product lineup capable of handling a wide range of connection types, from outdoor to indoor, and from few-fiber to ultra-multifiber. Leveraging Fujikura's proven technology cultivated through years of experience, we provide strong support to our customers. In addition to proposing products that balance high-density fiber capacity with comfortable workability—driven by recent increases in communication traffic—we can also provide cabling proposals addressing space constraints and demands for reduced optical connection loss. We offer total solutions tailored to our customers, aligned with the construction of optical communication networks for FTTH and data centers.

Optical Termination Enclosure for 19-inch Rack

This 19-inch rack-mountable optical patch panel is designed for versatile fiber management in indoor environments. It offers two configurations:
・Sliding Type: Equipped with a smooth slide mechanism for easy maintenance and enhanced accessibility. Transparent optical adapters (SM only) help prevent accidental removal during operation.
・Fixed Type: Ideal for terminating optical cables and organizing connections using adapters, providing a reliable and space-efficient solution for structured cabling systems.
Both options ensure robust performance, simplified installation, and flexible scalability to meet diverse network requirements.

Optical Termination Enclosure

This lineup provides flexible solutions for optical cable termination and fiber management in both outdoor and indoor environments. The FPB-202 termination box features a rainproof design for exterior wall installation, enabling safe switching between drop and indoor cables via FAST-SC connectors. It supports fusion-spliced or connector-terminated types, offers versatile cable routing, and includes lockable cases with optional pre-wired models for faster setup.
For indoor use, the FSC110 Optical Splitter 3U Module fits 19-inch racks, delivering high-density configurations and reduced connection points for lower-loss performance. Its slim design eliminates the need for adapters, supports UPC/APC polishing, and allows flexible mounting options, including magnetic bases.
Together, these products ensure reliable performance, easy installation, and scalability for FTTH and structured fiber networks.

Optical Closures for Aerial

The Aerial Closure series provides reliable solutions for FTTH access networks, combining high fiber capacity with excellent workability and maintainability. Supporting WTCTM cable non-cut branching, these closures accommodate up to 1,000 fibers in an 8SWR configuration and are ideal for drop cable connections, cable restoration, and utility pole relocation. With IPX4 protection (JIS C 0920), they ensure durability and performance in outdoor environments.

Optical Closures for Underground

The Underground Closure series offers compact, high-density solutions for optical networks, designed for small handholes and information boxes. These closures support ultra-multi-fiber cables with 1,728 fibers or more, ensuring excellent maintainability and assembly workability. With IPX7 water resistance, they provide reliable protection and contribute to efficient construction of optical communication networks.
